Google has just issued a new 'Patent Search' http://www.google.com/patents

The site appears to do what you could normal do on the US patent search site, however with the standard Google Interface and by far quicker and more reliable results.

Yeah but you would always have the dedicated niched groups that use other things... it is human nature.

Trust me.. 99.9999% of the planet does not understand what is happening yet to them. The worst parasite is youtube.com and google video... then it get's into stuff like this patent search.. granted it's public info... however.. it doesn't stop there..

Look at this Google 'Ride Finder' unsettling... a freaking GPS unit tapped into your car plastered on Google Maps...

Great site, wonderful application and it fills an obvious void. The void is the shittiest search on one of the most important DBs out there.

Kick in the nuts for me, as I am working on a very similar thing, but thankfully GOOGs is US only where mine is worldwide patents. Dman fine application though - Bastards!! :D
