Almost half of us have visited a brand’s Facebook Page and about 40% of the one of us who did, clicked like. On the other hand only about 25% of us who use Twitter have visited a brand’s Twitter profile and of that percentage only about the same number have clicked follow.

Shea Bennett says that is where the comparison stops between the social media platforms and where staying with the brand begins. 40% of Facebook users started following a new product or brand and over time 30% un-liked them. 24% of Twitter users started following a product, brand or company and only 13% stopped following them. Additionally, Google+ saw close to the same results as Twitter where as 30% of them started following a new product or brand and 16% stopped following.
