It's Time to Let Google Back In

You might rank for your phrase but if you block Google’s crawlers, you might not get what you were hoping for in mobile search results, causing users to move on.

Zineb Ait Bahajji announced today, “We’ve been seeing mobile websites that have that directive or that block access to critical resources such as JavaScript, CSS or images files. This prevents us from crawling and indexing their content properly.” and because of this, Google is now displaying “A description for this result is not available because of thie site’s robots.txt – learn more.”

This is not surprising, back in August of 2012 Google had implemented this snipit for any desktop sites blocking Javascript and CSS files.
