The AdWords "Buy" button takes a test run


Last week, Google AdWords implemented a "buy" button which will lead to a retailer-branded product page that is hosted by Google.

This "Purchases on Google" feature has only been released to a limited number of retailers as an experiment, but those included will only need to pay for clicks on the ads.

Other AdWords enhancements released with this update include deep linking to shopping apps and more.

Seems to be yet another way for the brands that can most heavily afford to advertise with Google to get ahead. Do you agree or do you think this adds a new level of opportunity to Internet Marketing?
