Google Has a New Parent Company - Alphabet


Google is reorganizing under the umbrella of a new parent company called Alphabet, hoping to keep its eclectic ducks in a row. Over the years, Google has gotten its hands into a lot of different pies - I suppose this is how they intend to keep everything smooth and profitable. The New York Times suggests that it's also how they'll placate investors and Wall Street.

Larry Page will become the new CEO of Alphabet alongside Sergey Brin. You can read the official announcement here.
