Did Google Peak Last Year?

comScore indicates that, once again, Google is down and Bing is up. It's just a .2 % difference in search share, month over month, but when you compare this year with last year Google is down 4 points on desktop.

Meanwhile Search Engine Land reports that, according to a site called StatCounter, Google "controls nearly 90% of mobile search in the US." Ho-lee cow. That's a pretty huge gap between Google and its competitors! I suppose its strategy of focusing on mobile is really paying dividends.
