Weak content seems to be the subject of ridicule almost everywhere on the net, but it's still being created.
There's a great thread on Cre8asiteforums right now about how the modern content factory is unsustainable. Says EGOL, "Hiring a content production service is going to be the next huge negative return "investment" that lots of website owners blow their money on. The people selling this content have no idea if it is going to be a positive return for their clients."
Phew. Wow. That's a pretty damning indictment to me. Give it a read - EGOL is a person with real, powerful expertise. Where do you think content on the web is going today? How can it change to become sustainable, and what would that mean?
