A Nail in the Coffin For Payday and High Interest Loan Ads
Beginning July 13 of this year, Google will stop accepting and displaying ads for a specific slice of payday and high interest loans. Any payday loan that requires repayment within 60 days or any high interest loan with an APR of 36% or higher in the USA will no longer be displayed. Search Engine Land has the story.
Payday loan groups have a history of spamming the ever-loving crap out of Google. The two groups have never really seen eye-to-eye. So this latest move is hardly surprising. And, honestly, payday loans are predatory as hell. So, to hell they go.

Pay Day Loan Ads
It's not clear if this will all eventually apply World-wide. For example, Google says the policy about high interest loans applies only to the U.S.A.
I cannot see how it will only apply in the U.S.A. and not be rolled out across the World.
