An interesting snippet of info nestled in the midst of the usual corporate pr bollocks in this interview with David Zito, of YPN.

we are introducing a feature called ad targeting that allows the publisher to influence the ads that are delivered by telling us what ad categories would be well received by their audience.

Now that would be NICE - if ads are tagged with certain categories, or multiple categories, the targeting for blogs particulary could really benefit.

It is category selection, but not all publishers have it. Will Johnson talked about it on the contextual ads for publishers session at SES earlier this month. He had some screen shots from the control panel, as well, just your basic category selection interface.
