Can decentralized search engines distrupt search?

The two players that I know of this in this space are presearch and bitclave . Looking at bitclave, the promise of user data privacy. For advertisers, there is a promise of reduced ad spend, because advertisers do not have to pay the google ad "toll" to connect to customers - consumers and advertisers are connected directly. The interesting part of the promise is that advertisers pay consumers directly, using a customized token. bitclave uses a blockchain infratructure. Looking at presearch, there is a promise of open ranking factors and an open search ecosystem. Presearch also uses token incentives that can be transferred into cryptocurrencies.Do you think that decentralized search engines are the future? Do you think the incentive strategies provided by bitclave and presearch to try to attract users will be sufficent to get the necessary growth to build network effects?
