Those of you working hard to exclude unwanted sites from your Adwords campaigns will no doubt be pleased to know that the site exclusion tool limit is now 500 sites. Why there should even be a limit on it is a little beyond me though...

I think the somewhat trivial limit only exists so that Google can get more free PR when they make these non event incremental improvements.

I was reading something on 43things recently about deliberately holding back a few features on a new product launch specifically to prop up the initial buzz a little longer when you announce a "new" feature a few weeks after launch....
Different with G of course, but same kind of principle.

Another factor could be that most of the good engineers at Google seems to be working on the organic side of things. I guess there isn't much prestige in engineering the ad-stuff :)
I beta tested this one
I beta tested this one before it initially launched, and upping the limit from 25 was something I pushed for. I was surprised they jumped up to 500, I would have expected a jump to 50, 100 or maybe 150 tops.
I do wish they allowed advertisers to block across all ad campaigns rather than having to block URLs on each campaign individually.
