Yahoo! or Google for Man United Shirts?
Bloomberg.com are running a story about Manchester United. They cite an Observer story that says Bryan Glazer, one of Malcolm Glazer's sons, and a Director of Man United, is in talks with Google Inc., Yahoo! Inc., Coca-Cola Co., IBM Corp. and Levi Strauss & Co. to replace Vodafone, the newspaper said, citing unidentified people. Looks like spin, but you never know.

As a Liverpool supporter
...I'll get loads of grief from my mates if Google sponsor United ("the scum"), as I do "Google stuff" for a living.
Come on Coca-cola - that's more up MU's corporate street.
As a United supporter
I'd be quite pleased about it. Of the list: Google Inc., Yahoo! Inc., Coca-Cola Co., IBM Corp. and Levi Strauss & Co., only Google could be perceived as moderately cool. Plus we'd get the new goal search service - Goalgle (groan) ;)
Or indeed...

Very good, but stop it. You'll give them ideas.
