One Login to Rule Them All and in the Googleplex Bind Them

I just got an email from Google/Writely letting me know I'm going to need to sign in using my universal data identity ... err Google Account information if I want to use writely in a few days. I don't see it published anywhere yet I can point to.

Is there anyone at the Googleplex trumpeting the cause of internet anonymity ...

Received by me too. Was sent

Received by me too. Was sent from writely domain so probably explains the non Google style of writing and presentation although interesting to see the email came to me via Google's internal mail servers so the final pieces of Office style domination look close.

Writely -v- Word
Spreadsheets -v- Excel
Gmail -v- Outlook
Calendar -v- Outlook
Gbase -v- Access

and a global wifi network to run them all from.

Hmmmm GoogleWebOS from one logon :)

Dear XXXX,

In a few days, we will update your Writely account to use your

Google Account registration settings.

This means you'll need to use your Google Account password when signing in, not your Writely password (if they're different).

If you've forgotten your Google Account password, just go to https://www.google.com/accounts/ForgotPasswd

Thanks!
Google Writely Team

And by that I assume you mean FON Routers?

The mountain valley experiment was fun, but getting it global fast and cheap - investing in FON was probably the best way to go.

Have they offered to fill in your tax returns for you yet?

Or your divorce papers? Your death certificate, perhaps?

Yeah, Google loves you, sure - guess why!

Death Certificate

That also known as the your adsense account has been suspended email ;-)

Ahhhh you misunderstand. I am not saying I would use it but from the average consumers' POV I can see it being very big indeed
