Is your Yahoo! Directory listing killing your organic search result clickthrough rate? If so, try using the NOYDIR tag:

We’re providing support for ‘NOYDIR’ which will recognize the following Meta tags on your pages:
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOYDIR"> or
<META NAME="Slurp" CONTENT="NOYDIR">

okay

Obviously if you write it you can improve it... but this is going to have some impact... let the games begin!

How many more , noodp's and nodir's are we gonna have?

Before these search engines default to the content on our site rather than some random directory? If they did the responsible thing and used our content to discribe our site.. none of these tags would be needed in the first place.

This is excellent

Kudos to Yahoo for providing a work-around.

The limitations of the Yahoo directory title/description (and difficulty with getting them changed) would have been the reason I've hesitated in recommending the Yahoo directory to clients. That reason is apparently now gone.

Wow.

It works. I couldn't be happier.

I have inadvertently found another way...

...of NOT getting my titles replaced by YDir titles on the Yahoo! SERPS. Even saved me 299 bucks.
