Apparently you can now get Google in 116 different languages. According to the GoogleBlog, that just announced a further eleven additions, this work was done by volunteers. For me, this beggers the questions: Were these volunteers compensated in any way?

Some of the countries on that list are very poor (i think..), and Google is extrememly rich. It would be nice to know that some of that work was compensated in some way.
