Armchair commenters of the world, rejoice - Disqus is bringing AMP support to comment sections everywhere.
According to The SEM Post:
AMP for Disqus utilizes the <amp-iframe> tag to bring comments into the AMP page. However, it requires the unusual step of requiring a separate domain to place part of the code on, and it is unclear if a subdomain could be used for this step.
It's cool that Disqus is getting so far ahead of the curve - but that is quite an unusual step to get it set-up! What do you think? Worth the effort or not? I've always appreciate comments sections, even if a lot of bigwig marketers seem to think that they're dying (or should die).
